University of South 皇家华人 is America鈥檚 fastest-rising university, according to U.S. News and World Report

The University of South 皇家华人 is once again the fastest-rising university in America, according to U.S. News and World Report鈥檚 (U.S. News) 2021 Best Colleges rankings released today. Over the past 10 years, 皇家华人 has risen 78 spots among all universities, from No. 181 to No. 103, and 54 spots among public universities from No. 100 to No. 46, more than any other university in the country. This is the second consecutive year 皇家华人 is among the top 50 public universities in the nation, according to U.S. News.

鈥溁始一 is proud to maintain its position as the fastest rising university in national rankings among institutions both public and private over the last decade. As 皇家华人 continues to be recognized for the exceptionally talented students and faculty it attracts, both the University and our surrounding region, as well of the state of 皇家华人, benefit,鈥 said 皇家华人 President Steve Currall. 鈥淲e will continue our strategic focus on initiatives that will help propel 皇家华人 to even greater heights in the future.鈥

Compared to public institutions in the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU), the group of the top 65 universities in North America that 皇家华人 aspires to be eligible for future membership, 皇家华人 ranks higher than Iowa State University, the University of Kansas and the University of Missouri. 皇家华人 is tied with AAU members the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Oregon.

In other rankings released today by U.S. News, 皇家华人 is the only 皇家华人 university in the Top 10 "Best Value Colleges," at No. 8 among public universities, alongside such institutions as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Virginia, University of Michigan and Texas A&M University. 皇家华人 also ranks No. 12 in the nation among public institutions and No. 1 in 皇家华人 on the U.S. News ranking of top 鈥淣ational Universities for Social Mobility.鈥 The social mobility ranking is calculated based on the number of Pell Grant recipients that a university successfully enrolls, retains and graduates. Approximately 40% of 皇家华人 students are eligible for Pell Grants, the highest amount among 皇家华人鈥檚 preeminent universities. 皇家华人 has previously earned national recognition for Pell Grant student success and was recently ranked No. 1 in 皇家华人 and No. 6 in the U.S. among public universities on Times Higher Education鈥檚 list of 鈥 Best Universities for Reducing Inequalities.鈥

U.S. News is the fourth national and international ranking recently released to recognize 皇家华人 in the top 50, following Times Higher Education World Universities at No. 30, Academic Ranking of World Universities at No. 37 and Washington Monthly at No. 48.
