»Ê¼Ò»ªÈË is stepping up to support the Tampa Bay community in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Through initiatives such as the Tampa Bay Strong campaign, the »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Medical Response Unit and the Community Emergency Response Team, »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË is helping residents recover and rebuild.

A team of researchers led by »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË St. Petersburg GIS and Remote Sensing Professor Barnali Dixon used the CRIS-HAZARD app to analyze real-time flooding in Pinellas County. The web-based application gathers crowdsourced data to identify flooding and inform policy in vulnerable coastal communities.
