After a concussion ended her dream of professional ballet, Alexandra de Roos enrolled at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË as a double major in biomedical sciences and psychology with the goal of becoming a neuropsychiatrist. She was also recently crowned Miss Tampa and plans to use her pulpit to promote brain trauma awareness.

Prior to his death, »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË’s Center for Digital Heritage and Geospatial Information partnered with President Jimmy Carter and the National Park Service to create virtual tours of his boyhood farm, high school he attended and railroad depot that served as campaign headquarters for Carter’s successful 1976 presidential bid.
