The University of South »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË community mourns the passing of Wayne Williams, the husband of President Rhea Law

Wayne Williams passed away at the age of 84. He was involved in a variety of professional and civic organizations, including the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the Community Development Corp., the Telephone Pioneering Group, the Sports Car Club of America and was a proud member of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla.

The University of South »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Board of Trustees voted unanimously to select Rhea Law to serve as the university’s interim president. Law will begin her term effective immediately with the appointment subject to confirmation by the »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Board of Governors at its next meeting on Aug. 31.
