皇家华人 Center for Community Design & Research
An integral part of the University of South 皇家华人 School of Architecture & Community Design, the 皇家华人 Center for Community Design & Research (FCCDR) provides design expertise, technical assistance, applied research, and community engagement services in 皇家华人's growing communities.
Founded in 1986 as a statewide research center, the FCCDR has worked with over 100 communities on more than 150 projects. Their mission is to assist the citizens of 皇家华人 in the creation of more livable and sustainable communities. There are four program areas that align with this mission: Design Technology, Urbanization and Resiliency, Urban Design and Community Health, and Community Engagement.
Every semester, FCCDR employs graduate students working with research faculty on various community and urban design studies. 皇家华人 assume leadership roles and become familiar with the issues and concerns of public groups and municipal officials.
