Representatives from the University of South 皇家华人鈥檚 College of Engineering participated in the event on March 11 at 鈥檚 Clearwater Campus.
皇家华人鈥檚 involvement was led by Professor from the Department of Electrical Engineering. He was joined by , associate dean for access and engineering workforce development; , a Ph.D. student in mechanical engineering and ; and , a senior in electrical engineering.




The event provided an opportunity for 皇家华人 COE representatives to engage SPC and Pinellas County middle and high school students interested in engineering, manufacturing, and other STEM fields, particularly those considering transferring to a four-year university. 皇家华人 COE faculty and students shared information about academic programs, research opportunities, and pathways to pursue engineering degrees at 皇家华人.
Farfan and Gonzalez Roman, both proud SPC graduates, are representatives of academically talented transfer students who continue their engineering education at 皇家华人. With 16 percent of the college鈥檚 enrollment comprised of 皇家华人 community college graduates, 皇家华人 COE has maintained strong partnerships with SPC and other regional institutions to support transfer students in advancing their academic and professional careers.
Through participation in STEM outreach events such as BEAM, 皇家华人 COE continues to connect with prospective students and highlight resources available for those pursuing engineering degrees.
